This is us - The Mohrs
Experience and tradition since 1982
Youstunt Concepts GmbH is a genuine family business with a long tradition in the entertainment industry. Originally founded in 1982 by the nationally renowned stunt coordinators Mac Steinmeier and Michael Mohr as “Stuntteam Steinmeier und Mohr”, we have developed over the years into a leading company in the field of action entertainment. In the 2000s, Steinmeiner Mohr became Stuntteam Michael Mohr. In 2010, Nikolai Mohr took over the management of the entertainment division and Youstunt Concepts GmbH was founded.
Our expertise originally lies in the film and TV sector, but with the opening of the first theme parks in Germany, we expanded our field of activity and also made a name for ourselves in the live entertainment sector. For many years, we were represented with our shows in various theme parks throughout Europe and today we can count the largest film productions and most successful theme parks among our valued customers.
What sets us apart
For us, the Mohrs, personal support is paramount. We take the time to understand your needs and develop individual solutions for each production. At Youstunt, we create a special, informal atmosphere that encourages collaboration, builds trust and creates a close bond between our team and the production staff. We look forward to a safe and action-packed collaboration.
We are part of the ensemble at Tanztheater Wuppertal
PINA BAUSCH - carnations
Michael began working with his partner at the time, Mac, and two other stunt players in Pina Bausch’s ensemble in 1982. On December 30, the play Nelken, in which they have played an important role ever since, celebrated its premiere at the Wuppertal Opera House. Michael and Mac have toured the world with the play. Hendrik has also been part of the ensemble since 2013 and has taken over Michael’s part. In Nelken, which deals with fears and worries, the inability to love and oppression, Pina Bausch processes parts of her childhood. Nelken is just as modern and contemporary today as it was when it was first performed in 1982 and has only changed in length. The stage is decorated with a sea of carnations.
